What is most definitely the biggest and most challenging stage of the entire tour.  2 major mountain ascents over an incredible 188km in temperatures sure to reach the mid to high 30's

this day rivals those in any major pro tour including the Tour de France.

A bit of a recovery day after 3 very big climbing days to start the tour.  We rode this Stage last year but in reverse and at a blistering 34km pace into a brutal head wind the last 30km.  Looking forward to riding it in a different direction this year, hopefully with a tailwind!  A few small climbs at the end of the day but overall a needed break before the big climbs in the second half of the tour.
