To celebrate one full year of blogging, here's Adam''s favourite post so far: the blog announcing our arrival into Cranbrook on August 10th, 2009.

"This post was pretty fun to write at the time. It was ten pm, and we were celebrating and having a good time when we realized that we had forgotten to post something for the day. So I went to another (more quiet) room, pulled out my computer, and tried writing a summary. I wrote two or three sentences, realized that they didn't make any sense, and started over. After four or five attempts, I just wrote what got posted. At the time I thought that it was pretty clever, but looking at it now, I realize that we posted the wrong stats for the day, and that we never did post a proper one the next morning (or ever).

It's my favourite post though just because of all the comments. Having people follow and contribute to the blog was a great motivator, and it was so much fun to read everyone's feedback. It's one of the big things we are all looking forward to this year."

To celebrate one full year of blogging, here's Branko's favourite post so far: the blog about Rick and Dick Hoyt posted on July 30, 2008.

Says Branko:

This by far was my favourite blog. I did have a few, but this one moved me the most. When I first saw this incredible man sacrifice so much for his son, I had a hard time keeping the tears back.
The pain and suffering we endured on the highest mountain pass in Cananda during last year's Tour did not even come close to what he had to endure to make his sons dreams come to life and for that my hat goes off to the two of them. They are the real hereos.....Sweet Jesus.
